Since our inception in 2009, Edison Group has evolved into one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh, venturing into mobile handset manufacturing, footwear manufacturing and export, power distribution, creative marketing, properties, logistics, real estate, and electronics. My leadership philosophy revolves around inspiring action, strategic development, and emphasizing the significance of people, originality, creativity, and common sense.
As an inspirational leader, I believe in telling stories that ignite change and emphasize the role of financial information in driving business decisions. I value the long-term vision, prioritizing progress and growth, even in the face of short-term challenges. Providing support and fostering an environment for employees to explore their passions and creativity is central to my leadership approach.
Beyond my role at Edison Group, I actively contribute to the sustainable development of various industry associations. I am honored to hold the position of President of the Mobile Phone Industry Owners' Association of Bangladesh (MIOB). Additionally, I serve as the Director of the Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association. I am also the Vice President of the Latin America Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LA-BCCI) & The Bangladesh Sports Shoes Manufacturers & Exporters Association. Based on my extensive experience at Siemens, I successfully created and developed brands like Maximus, Symphony, Halio, and Ludas, achieving remarkable success in brand building and market leadership.
In addition to my professional commitments, I am dedicated to social development through pro bono activities. I serve as the President of the Association of Poor Advancement and Needs (APAN), an organization committed to uplifting underprivileged communities.Currently, I serve as the Vice President of Shorno Kishoree Network adolescents for improving health, hygiene product, well beings, education development as social change maker organization in Bangladesh.
My educational background includes an MBA, and I initiated my career at SIEMENS Bangladesh, where I served as the General Manager of the Industry & Consumer Products Division for over a decade. My experience and skills, combined with a people-oriented leadership approach, drive continuous growth and improvement in both the organizations I lead and the people who make it all happen.
